What is NLP?

Essentially it’s about creating the life you really want by noticing what works for you and what doesn't. With NLP people begin a fascinating and life changing journey of self discovery and new learning. You too can dump the victim tee-shirt and start pro-actively creating new choices. When you have awareness of what you're doing you can keep it and enhance it ... or change it for something better.

NLP starts with the vital question “what do you really want?”

Then it gives you the insights and tools to bring the answer to that question into reality.

So how do you think? How do you do what you do? What’s your most effective way to learn? Is real success likely to come about if you keep on doing what you've been doing? What stops you from achieving more?  How can you generate more peaceful feelings and less anxious and unproductive ones?

• Notice your experience, inside and out. What's working? What isn't?
• Become a sensory being – see, hear and feel your world.
• Think in outcomes. Keep asking the question “what do I want here?”
• Learn to be in rapport with others. Transform communication by walking in their shoes until you understand their mental world. Pace, pace then lead.
• Don't allow negative experiences to flatten you. Change the view, create choices and generate resourcefulness.
• Be flexible – if what you're doing doesn't work – do something else.
• Take action and get feedback
• Take more action in the light of feedback.
